Alison is a career-change lawyer who undertook her legal studies as a mature age student. She completed her Bachelor of Laws with Edith Cowan University in November 2022, her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with the College of Law in May 2023, and was admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in August 2023.
Alison has many transferrable skills from her previous career in business and finance, which included 10 years in the investment banking sector in London. Alison worked in both the commercial and community legal sectors during her studies, and chose to pursue a career in family law based on her passion for this area of law. She is motivated to practice with a child-centred focus.
Now that she has finished her studies, Alison enjoys cooking up a storm for family and friends, doing household chores at a leisurely pace, going to the gym, and travelling.
