It’s that time of year again! In case you haven’t been into one of the overly eager department stores, the holiday season is fast approaching.

We hate to be the Grinch, but if you don’t plan your parenting orders in advance Christmas can be one of the worst days of the year for parents and children alike.

Like all letters to Santa, you must get your wishes in early to avoid missing out. The Family Court of Western Australia stops taking parenting arrangement requests for the holiday season on 11 November 2016. After this there is no guarantee that your matter will be heard before Christmas so it is important that you wrap up your request as soon as possible. To avoid the rush, and worse missing out on time with your kids this holiday season, speak to one of our Family Lawyers today.
