Lynn & Brown Lawyers announces its Price & Service Guarantee
“It is with much pleasure that we can announce that Lynn & Brown Lawyers is the first and only law firm in Western Australia that provides its clients with both a price guarantee and a service guarantee”, advises Steven Brown, director at Lynn & Brown Lawyers.
All new instructions to the firm since 1 June 2017 have been undertaken by a provision of a fixed price. Over 95 percent of the firm’s work is now conducted on fixed prices, with some heritage files still being completed by time based methods. “It therefore made sense to us to firm up the certainty, transparency and clarity of our pricing model with a guarantee to our clients”.
Our pricing guarantee provides that, “if our clients ever receive an invoice from us without first authorising the service, payment terms, and price, they will not be obligated to pay for that service.”
We have noted that in legal service circles there is some comment in relation to questioning whether the provision of a fixed price could result in there being failure for service to be delivered at an optimal level. Whilst in our view this was never a consideration, as first and foremost was a requirement to provide top quality legal services. This in and of itself was of utmost importance to us, top level service also was a must, to recognise our ability to provide repeat legal services for our clients and to receive great word of mouth referrals.
We have taken steps to alleviate any concerns in that regard by providing a service guarantee. The guarantee provides that our work is guaranteed to the complete satisfaction of our clients and if our clients are not satisfied with the services of Lynn & Brown Lawyers we will either refund the fee paid or accept a portion of the fee that reflects the level of value received.
To provide these guarantees in writing to our clients at the time of engagement was a logical step to record what our view otherwise was of the engagement process. It is with great pleasure that we can provide this certainty and transparency to clients.
